Week 2 of the 2026 MCPS high school football season featured decisive results across Montgomery County.
Five MCPS teams recorded shutout victories, while Quince Orchard, Paint Branch, Wheaton and Bethesda-Chevy Chase each scored at least 50 points. Every game was decided by 12 points or more.
Here is how every team finished in Week 2.
Sherwood 21, Seneca Valley 6
Sherwood held Seneca Valley to six points in a 15-point victory.

Quince Orchard 68, Walter Johnson 0
Quince Orchard scored 68 points and kept Walter Johnson off the scoreboard.

Bethesda-Chevy Chase 50, Blair 36
B-CC reached 50 points in a 14-point win over Blair.

Wheaton 58, Springbrook 0
Wheaton recorded a 58-point shutout victory over Springbrook.

Churchill 28, Northwest 13
Churchill defeated Northwest by 15 points.
Paint Branch 59, Einstein 0
Paint Branch scored 59 points while holding Einstein scoreless.

Gaithersburg 41, Northwood 0
Gaithersburg defeated Northwood 41-0.

Clarksburg 32, Magruder 7
Clarksburg defeated Magruder by 25 points.

Blake 25, Walt Whitman 13
Blake earned a 12-point victory over Whitman.
Poolesville 46, Rockville 0
Poolesville scored 46 points and shut out Rockville.

Damascus 42, Wootton 7
Damascus held Wootton to seven points in a 35-point win.

Kennedy 32, Richard Montgomery 18
Kennedy defeated Richard Montgomery by 14 points.

Winters Mill 69, Watkins Mill 8
Watkins Mill fell to Winters Mill, the only non-MCPS team included in the Week 2 results.
