Earlier this month, Quince Orchard High School broke into the Top 300 high school football teams in the country. Now they have reached another landmark, ranking 44th in the public high school football rankings. This puts them ahead of well-known powerhouse schools like DeSoto, Southlake Carroll, and more.
Win Streak and Standouts
The QO football team has done nothing but win in recent years, with a 32-game win streak. They have won back-to-back state championships and are well on their way to a three-peat. With Coach John Kelley at the helm, along with standout players such as QB Carter Dailey, defensive backs Rico Jackson and Ryan Drakeford, defensive lineman Jaheim Bond, and more, the Cougars hope to continue their win streak and win that third state title in a row.

Chasing Tougher Competition
Because Quince Orchard has been so dominant, they have had to go and find stronger opponents in Virginia, such as South County and Stone Bridge. Since the team is now being recognized even more and shown in these rankings as one of the top programs in the country, they may look to play other powerhouse schools and start traveling a bit farther to find more competition.

Deserved Recognition, Bright Future
Regardless of who they play, the Quince Orchard football team has been outstanding for years and will continue to shine and outplay its opponents. Being recognized as a top 50 public high school football team in the country is very much deserved, and it is just the start.
